Audio problems are hard to diagnose, but while they may appear random at first it's often possible to narrow down the affected calls to a certain scenario.

Test the following scenarios and advise which have the problem and which do not:

  1. Internal Phone -> Enswitch -> Internal Phone
  2. Internal Phone -> Enswitch -> Voicemail Box
  3. Internal Phone -> Enswitch -> External Number
  4. External Number -> Enswitch -> Internal Phone
  5. External Number -> Enswitch -> Voicemail Box
  6. External Number -> Enswitch -> External Number
  • For Internal Phones try different customers on different networks, to see if it is network specific.
  • For External Numbers try different Termination and DID providers, to see if they are the cause.
  • For the scenarios experiencing the problem note the exact details of called and calling numbers and which party(s) could not hear the audio. These will be used to find the correct information in the call trace.
